What are account levels?

Let’s begin by specifying that Climbing Italy was created to be managed and updated by the climbing community. However, not all users registered on the site can interact with the database.

Registration on the site creates a "Climber" level account. This level lets users record their performances and add personal notes to the climbed routes.

At the higher level are the Editors, who are Climbers who have made a request and been individually appointed by the Administrator. Editors have access to certain screens hidden from Climbers, which allow them to add new climbing routes and modify existing ones.

Editors can:

Routes

• Add new routes
• Modify all route data (name, grade, height, location, etc.)
• Assign an image to the route
• Add and modify the vector path on the image
• Add and modify notes

Note: When a climbing route is added or deleted, the numbering of the subsequent routes is automatically updated.

Sectors

• Add new sectors
• Modify all sector data (name, location, approach, etc.)
• Assign the sector to a specific area

Additionally, Editors + can delete climbing routes created by others.
