Enjoyable route on perfect limestone but disturbed by the growing vegetation. In my opinion, cams are almost useless except on P2. On the other pitches, you can use only Totems from black to yellow. P1: follow the bolts along a crack towards the right. Same start as Pigs out of Tibet. P2: Go left. One bolt 3 meters from the anchor. Climb to the right of the crack. P3: Again left in an easy corner that becomes overhanging. Athletic moves on good holds. Bolts very close. P4: Slightly to the right and the left. P5: hard moves until the 3rd bolt, then a few more tricky sections. Traverse to the right towards a small ledge full of vegetation. Do not follow the obvious crack along the last dihedral. P6: Traverse to the left to catch the obvious crack/corner. P7: Bouldery section followed by a nice hand crack (Totem yellow used). P8: climb the crack (Totem blue) until an overhanging section with nice lay backing moves. Then easier climbing to the last anchor. Descent: it is also possible to walk around the Cusidore and down. A bit longer but no abseiling and one of the most beautiful panoramas in Sardinia.300 m

Beautiful and sustained route with an obb. grade of ~6c and long bolting on perfect rock. Access: walk on the dry river bad, ignore any other trail (30', 1.5 km, parking coordinate: 40.249465720021, 9.491200568792719). L1: 45 m with a distinct fingery crux. L2: reach a sand clock with an old rope and traverse horizontally to the right. It then goes straight up towards a small roof that forms a small corner. Manage the rope drag. Sustained with a harder section at the very end. L3: Hard start and then easier on perfect rock towards the right. L4: traverse right and then straight up with a slightly harder section below the anchor. L5: traverse 5 m to the right by walking on the ledge. Climb up to a harder section towards the left with less distant bolting. Descent: follow the many cairns towards S first and then E. The path does not bring you back into the gorge but on the opposite side of the ridge. Notes: idiots have equipped a rapel line that has nothing to do with the route. They have installed fixed ropes to walk along the ledges. Ignore those anchors and ropes.150 m

Beautiful route on perfect and very sharp rock. Very technical and fingery in the first half. It felt quite hard for the grade. Corners and cracks in the second. 14 quickdraws and 2x50 m to abseil. Small to medium cams can be used but they are not necessary. Easy to haul a bag. The route remains in the shade much longer than the other routes as it is shaded by a pillar. It starts from a small niche with a bolt 1 m from the ground with a fixed white rope. The appraoch is rather quick but tiring on a steep scree. Pitch 1 is very nice with a hard boulder problem at the last bolt (35 m). Pitch 2 is short and easy (15 m). Pitch 3 is hard to read with two traverses, but it felt more homogeneous than the first, cams can be placed in the easier section of the pitch (30 m). Pitch 4 is a beautiful corner, easier towards the end with an off-width section at the end (30 m). Pitch 5 is short but not so easy, small cams can be placed but they are not necessary (15 m). Pitch 6 starts with some powerful moves on a crack and then gets easier as you climb up into a corner, medium sized cams can be placed in the second half, the rock requires some attention here (25 m). Abseil: S6->S5->S3->S1->Ground.160 m

Nice and varied route - slabs, cracks, corners. Take 14 quickdraws, and a full set of cams (#0.3 to #3 BD). It is possible to abseil on the route starting from anchor #5 but it requires 60 m ropes. Watch out because you don't touch the wall as you abseil. Otherwise you can abseil on Umbras (do not skip anchors and possibly clip some bolts to stay close to the wall). The first two pitches are not very interesting beside a short crack on L1. The vegetation is growing quickly due to the few repetitions - try to clean it as much as you can! The 6b+ slab is great as well as the other 6b+.290 m

Nica and varied route. It is possible to start from the rocks at sea level after a 30 m abseil or traverse 5 m above the water at the level of some fixed ropes (watch out for lose rock and slippery sections). The first pitch traverses to the right, do not go straight up following another line of bolts. The bolts on the 6b+ are very close to each other. The last two pitches are not be underestimated. The two easy pitches can be very well climbed as one (~40 m in total). Very good rock quality and gear in place.175 m

For the second time on this amazing route on one of the most esthetic walls of Sardinia. 14 quickdraws and a 50 m single rope are sufficient. It's easy to haul a bag on the route. It is possible to place medium-sized cams on L7 (corner, crack) to reduce the obligatory grade on that pitch. The last two pitches can be easily be climbed as one if you don't clip a quickdraw to the anchor of L12. Starting from L8 the route gets easier. The rock quality is amazing throughout the entire route as well as the gear (three points at each anchor). 390 m

Beautiful and homogeneous route on excellent rock, the vegetation has grown back due to the very few repetitions but it's never too annoying. Scarce fixed protections along the route. One full sets of Totem cams plus one Black Diamond #3 are enough. The route starts to the left of "Passavamo sulla terra leggeri" which is not listed here on Climbing Italy (check planetmounrain.it, nice drawing available). You can see the first piton from the ground. The anchors are for the most part equipped with one rusty artisanal bolt and one piton. It is often possible to add a cam or nut. The second VII or (6b) pitch is now in common with "Diamanti e ruggine". It is possible to go right after the initial crack/flake and to climb in corner. The original route goes left there towards the bolts of "Diamanti e ruggine". You can NOT abseil on the route but on the neighbouring "modern" routes.690 m

Avoid climbing on these towers as they are located on private land and the owner(s) unfortunately are not willing to let people climb there. Abseiling routes (apparently it's a thing now - you hike up and then abseil) have been bolted on most of the towers by local "abseilers" without the landowners permission thus attracting their attention and frustration. If they see you walking around with climbing gear they either gently or aggressively tell you not to go climbing. 335 m

The climbing is not spectacular but the place is simply amazing. The route starts from almost the lowest point of the gorge di Gorropu. The descent in the couloir from the top of the face is very steep and not easy to walk on. The road to get to the parking is in excellent conditions (June 2024) but it is not good for large vans. An alternative could be to drive as far as possible on the road and then continue with mountain bikes. It can be very hot both while climbing and hiking back up after having climbed the route.330 m

Interesting route in a very dramatic scenery - personally I found the view better than the climbing. The 2nd pitch is considerably harder than all the others especially if humid. Hard to be warmed up for the 2nd pitch since the first one is short and easy. Abseiling is not very comfortable since you must pass the rope through two glued-in bolts that are not connected to each other. We left some spare carabiners on the way down at the anchors to more easily retrieve the rope while abseiling. Excellent rock and good protections all along the route. 210 m

Bella via su roccia che migliora salendo. Il primo tiro è oggettivamente brutto e con roccia unta ma i tiri successivi sono nettamente meglio. Protezioni e soste in ottimo stato. La prima parte di L2 è forse il tratto chiave della via. Scesi con tre doppie su sole incantatore (2 corde da 60m). Diverse soste attrezzate per le doppie sulla faccia nord. Sempre affollatissima, per questo conviene partire presto dal parcheggio ed evitare di trovarsi nell'ingorgo di gente che sale e che scende. La via non è dura ma non va sottovalutata, forse l'obb. è un po' più di 5c. Di certo la chiodatura non è ascellare.140 m

Bellissima salita "alpinistica". Diverse soste sono ormai attrezzate a spit, altrimenti qualche spit e diversi chiodi lungo la via. La ricerca dell'itinerario non è complicata a patto di avere un po' di esperienza su questo tipo di vie. A parte i primi due tiri e qualche tiro di raccordo, la difficoltà è omogenea su tutta la via. Arrivati all'ultimo risalto la via attraversa a sinistra. Qui è importante continuare ad attraversare e non salire verso una vecchia fettuccia su chiodo a circa due terzi del traverso. è utile reperire l'itinerario sul risalto finale dalla cresta per evitare di sbagliare proprio alla fine. 630 m

No bolts in place except for the first anchor. Do not stop at the first anchor (bolt + timeglass, route Il Greco), but higher up (one bolt only or good hand crack to build the belay, good ledge). It's preferable to have 2x#3,#4,#5 BD and 1x#6 for L2. BD #6 is also needed. Small friends (smaller than #0.75 BD) almost useless. L3 and L4 can hardly be protected (squeezed chemeney). After L2 it seems possible to get on L3 and L4 of Il Greco (bolted) thus skipping the last two exposed pitches. The last two pitches can be combined in a single one (~50 m long).120 m

Saliti i primi due tiri. Il secondo è decisamente molto impegnativo per il grado. Lungo, fisico, nel primo tratto strapiombante ma ottimamente proteggibile con friends medio grandi. Fessura di mano e pugno che poi diventa off-width. Nella prima parte la corda tende a rimanere nella fessura disturbando l'incastro dei piedi. Meglio allungare i friends con qualche rinvio. Possibilità di calarsi facilmente da S2 per evitare i tiri finali molto esposti (R3).130 m

Bella via in un tratto di costa veramente suggestivo. Ad eccezione del primo tiro che mi è sembrato non particolarmente bello e con un unico passo duretto, la via è molto omogenea come difficoltà. I tiri sono tutti atletici su buone prese e roccia aggressiva. La chiodatura è ottima e mai impegnativa come distanza tra le protezioni. Benché tutte le soste siano attrezzate per le doppie, si fa molto prima a scendere a piedi utilizzando la corda fissa di Millenium. In caso di maestrale molto forte, questa come le altre vie vicine, risulta comunque esposta al vento che qui si incanala risalendo la costa verso nord (vedere per credere).150 m

Via molto bella come le altre in questo settore dell'Oddeu ma più recente e quindi probabilmente meno ripetuta (attenzione alla roccia negli ultimi tiri). Un po' meno difficile di Sale Grosso ma di simile impegno per la chiodatura (a memoria direi max. 5-6 spit per tiro). Necessari friends medio-piccoli per integrare. I passaggi più duri sono in placca e quindi chiodati anche se lunghetti. La via attacca 10 m a destra di Buena Vista (facilmente riconoscibile per via del primo tiro su canna), il nome è ancora leggibile all'attacco. I tiri sono tutti intorno ai 30 m di lunghezza all’incirca. L1: all'ultimo spit attraversare a sinistra sul facile dopo l’ultimo spit ed uscire dritti con sosta con catena su un po' nascosta dalla vegetazione (qualcosa in più di 6a+). L2: dritti seguendo gli spit fino a sosta comoda su cengia con catena. L3: diagonale a sinistra fino a raggiungere la linea di Buena Vista, non facile individuare gli spit, S3 forse in comune con Buena Vista. L4: partire in traverso a sx e poi dritti fino sotto a un tettino ben visibile dalla S3, ATTENZIONE dalla S3 Buena Vista continua dritta sopra la sosta, S4 su due spit da collegare. L5: bellissimo tiro di tecnica e continuità nella prima metà e poi più semplice su maniglioni, la seconda metà del tiro non ha spit ma ci si protegge discretamente, dopo la parte di placca attraversare in diagonale a sx rimanendo dove ad occhio sembra più facile, S5 appesa ma non scomoda con catena. L6: boulder di dita in partenza, non facile rinviare il secondo spit, abbiamo rimosso un blocco enorme completamente libero che incombeva sopra la sosta, il resto del tiro non è duro ma più di continuità su prese buone, prestare attenzione alla roccia, S6 comoda su due spit da collegare. L7: 35 m con 3 spit in tutto, si sale dritti per dritti sempre su buone prese proteggendosi come si può, S7 comoda con catena. 220 m

Belli i primi due tiri e più impegnativo l'ultimo anche se corto. Anche noi abbiamo attaccato la fessura di destra (come indicato nella guida di Oviglia :-D). Nella parte centrale si sale veloci senza difficoltà con tratti in comune con la via normale. Sicuramente più meritevole di Tempo Lento secondo me.260 m

Bella alternativa alla più facile via della difesa. utili nut medio-piccoli per costruire la S3. attenzione alle lama che muovono alla fine del traverso del terzo tiro. il diedro di VI+ si protegge facilmente e si risolve in pochi movimenti. bella anche la placca che segue il diedro che si riesce ugualmente a proteggere.60 m

Bella via. I tre 7a sono però gli unici tiri veramente stupendi. Gli altri non sono niente di che. Personalmente preferisco Sale Grosso dove ogni tiro è un vero regalo. La via attacca a sx di Sale Grosso passato un piccolo diedro. Il primo spit è in alto sopra una piccola cengia 5 m da terra. Si può partire direttamente da questa cengia.220 m
